Hours of Operation (November):

  • 10:00am-4:00pm, Wednesday-Saturday

  • Closed on Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays


  • Adult $12 / Senior $10 

  • Child (7-17) / Students $8

  • Children under 7 are free

  • Family (2 adults + up to 4 kids) - $30

  • Veterans or Miliary Members are free

  • Members of the National Trust are free

  • Visiting outside grounds is welcome upon paying standard admission.

**Masks are required to be worn when visiting the Canadian Energy Museum**

Physical Distancing

  • Physical distancing will be in place as you enter, check-in and visit the exhibits in the museum.

  • Visitors will be expected to maintain a 2m distance from other households.

  • Staff will maintain physical distance from visitors, or where masks when physical distance is not possible.


  • Visitors will sanitize or wash their hands upon arrival to the museum.

  • Sanitization stations available throughout the museum.

  • Staff have a daily sanitization schedule, including all touchable surfaces (door handles, etc.), seating areas and bathrooms.

  • All physically interactive exhibits in the museum will be closed at this time.


  • No outside food or drink will be allowed in the museum (personal water bottles allowed)

  • Water bottles and light snacks will be available for purchase in the gift shop.

  • Visitors are encouraged to download and use the ABTrace Together App

You will be asked to follow all Alberta Health Services Guidelines while at the Canadian Energy Museum.

You may not enter the CEM if:

  • You are ill or experiencing symptoms of COVID -19. These include fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, and/or others listed on Alberta Health Services website.

  • You've been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with or has symptoms of COVID-19.

  • You or someone in your household has traveled internationally (or participated in a large gathering) in the past 14 days.
