Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm, Thursday, 9:00am-8:00pm

As of September 20, 2021 we will be following the Restrictions Exemption Program effective September 20.

 

This means that we will be asking visitors for:

  • proof of vaccination

    • partial vaccination (one dose) accepted September 20 to October 25 if received 2 weeks before time of service

    • full vaccination (two doses) required after October 25

  • proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed)

  • documentation of a medical exemption

Admission

  • Adult $6 / Senior $4 

  • Youth (6-12) / Students $4

  • Children under 5 are free

  • Family (2 adults + 2 kids) - $15

  • Veterans or Military Members are free

  • Members of the National Trust are free

  • Indigenous Peoples are free

  • Visiting outside grounds is welcome upon paying standard admission. 

  • The last Thursday of every month is FREE admission!

COVID-19 &

VISITOR SAFETY

**Masks are required to be worn when visiting the Canadian Energy Museum**

Physical Distancing

  • Physical distancing will be in place as you enter, check-in and visit the exhibits in the museum.

  • Visitors will be expected to maintain a 2m distance from other households.

  • Staff will wear masks or remain behind appropriate barriers when visitors are present.

Cleaning

  • Visitors will sanitize or wash their hands upon arrival to the museum.

  • Sanitization stations available throughout the museum.

  • Staff have a daily sanitization schedule, including all touchable surfaces (door handles, etc.), seating areas and bathrooms.

Other

  • No outside food or drink will be allowed in the museum (personal water bottles allowed)

You will be asked to follow all Alberta Health Services Guidelines while at the Canadian Energy Museum.

You may not enter the CEM if:

  • You are ill or experiencing symptoms of COVID -19. These include fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, and/or others listed on Alberta Health Services website.

  • You've been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with or has symptoms of COVID-19.
