Material Donations
If you have artifacts you are interested in donating, thank you! We are currently interested in collecting objects and print material related to: coal mining, renewable energy, nuclear energy, women, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC stories in the energy industry, and objects related to politics and protest (bumper stickers, protest signs, etc.).
If you have an object or objects you believe would find a good home with us, please reach out to our Collections Manager Danielle (collections@canadianenergymuseum.ca) and include a list of items, a brief summary of their history, photographs if possible, and any other information you wish to add.
Thank you for your support!

Why sponsor us?
This is your chance to tell a story, one that will influence diverse age groups and people of various socio-economic backgrounds. We want everyone to understand just how diverse Canada's energy sector really is, and we need your help making our dream come true. Without our sponsors, we'd struggle to meet financial goals, so your generosity will allow us to continue engaging communities through storytelling and other learning opportunities.
The Canadian Energy Museum started as a passion project. Today, we are so much more than that. We continue to celebrate Alberta's past but have chosen to share more multi-faceted stories, stories we feel represent Canada as a whole.
Exhibit Development
Want to help us develop a new exhibit? Our goal is to develop exhibits that explore both renewable and non-renewable energy sources in Canada, in addition to providing information on topics such as women in the field, innovative technologies or the contributions of various companies to Canada's economy.
Education
Programs
Every year, we host hundreds of kids from local schools and summer camps. We pride ourselves on having developed unique programs and would appreciate your help in raising costs to ensure every young visitor is given a top-notch educational experience.
How Can You Help?
We associate your sponsorship with our museum's success. If you're interested in joining forces with us, please consider some of the ways in which you might contribute.
Operations
Between bringing home the Historic Leduc no.1 Rig, employing maintenance staff or purchasing equipment, our operations are vital to the success and future of the Canadian Energy Museum. If you are interested in contributing to our museum, please consider helping us cover our operations costs.
